Listeners in the tour group listen either the tour leader or their respective language channel. Our systems can provide up to 30 language channels operating in the same place.
Translation at Weddings & Civil Ceremonies - Whisper translation at a wedding ceremony can be achieved discreetly using a portable audio guide system. The person providing the interpretation speaks (whispers) into a microphone/transmitter and your guests listen discreetly via an earpiece from a small pocket-sized receiver. You can hire a portable system from us to ensure all your guests are included in your special event.
Simultaneous Translation - Our tourguide systems provide wireless pocket-portable devices for up to 30 simultaneous languages whether you have 5 or 500+ listeners. Additional equipment is available for business meetings and conferences like dual interpreter consoles with a choice of headsets for the interpreters. We can arrange interpreters and booths if required
Portable Interpreter Kits for Hire - Interpreters may hire portable tourguide equipment to provide the simultaneous translation service for their client's events. Hire a Digi-wave or ListenTALK tourguide system that allows the interpreter to hear the floor language/talker directly in your headset and then provide simultaneous-translation to your listeners. This may be repeated for multiple languages in one group! The systems are pocket-sized devices, so is even suitable for walking tours. Some of our systems offer encrypted transmission to secure conversation at sensitive meetings, or in courtrooms, etc.
